UML’s campaign for national unity and social harmony: chair Oli


Kathmandu, Feb 27: CPN (UML) chair and former Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli has said that the Mechi-Mahakali Campaign which is set to kick off from March 4 to 18 will be meaningful to end transitional phase, instability and maintain national unity and social cohesion.

While directing the party volunteers to be deployed for the Campaign here today, chair Oli further shared that the Campaign would be more meaningful to inform the people about the policy and programme of the party to end all kinds of instability surfaced in the country.

He said “this is a historical and extraordinary campaign which is transparent and only the UML could organize such campaign.”

The UML chairman further asserted that no parties or forces could dare organize such nationalistic campaign.

Similarly, the party secretary, Pradip Gyawali urged the participants of the programme to play effective role to make the campaign successful.

Likewise, secretary and chief at the party publicity department Yogesh Bhattarai shared that the campaign will help create unity among the people from all sides and will further clarify that the constitution amendment bill was irrelevant and against national interest.

According to him, there would be grand mass meeting in different 30 places during the campaign.
It is stated that 10,000 volunteers will be mobilized for the campaign.
