Rajbiraj, April 4: Two person was killed while six others were injured in a wild tusker attack at Hanumannagar in Saptari district today, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Roshan Kumar Jha, 30, of Hanumannagar-3 in the district, police added. Jha breathed his last while being rushed to Dharan based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Sunsari.
According to police, among the injured , three are in critical condition and are undergoing treatment at BPKIHS.
The critically injured are Sanjiv Saha of Hanumannagar- 2, Sanjay Saphi and Kalicharan Sah of Hanumannagar- 3.
The elephant that came out from Koshi Tappu Wild Life Reserve had attacked them.
